Dr. Linnie Carter Joins Advisory Board of Her Alma Mater

Dr. Linnie S. Carter, APR, the president and CEO of Linnie Carter & Associates LLC and a community college vice president, was recently appointed to the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Richard T. Robertson School of Media and Culture Advisory Board.
​
Dr. Carter is a two-time graduate of VCU, having earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mass communications.
​
Dr. Carter said “I love VCU and spent some of the best years of my life attending and working at the university. Being asked to serve on the advisory board is a wonderful way to end what has been a very challenging year. I am honored to serve and look forward to working with the other Advisory Board members.”

Dr. Linnie Carter Elected Chair of CASE Advisory Committee

Dr. Linnie S. Carter, APR, the president and CEO of Linnie Carter & Associates LLC and a community college vice president, was elected chair of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Center for Community College Advancement Advisory Committee. Her two-year term began on July 1, 2020.

The Center for Community College Advancement Advisory Committee “identifies learning opportunities and professional development needs for community college advancement professionals, identifies trends and best practices to showcase and builds support for the center.”
